Finally an all woman parking lot!
With the high rate of attacks on women in secluded parking lots,
especially during evening hours, a city council in Australia has
established a "Women Only" parking lot near downtown.
Even the parking lot attendants are exclusively female, so that a
comfortable and safe environment is created for patrons.

Poor kitty cat!
"My sister-in law is from Oklahoma and has a slight accent.
She has cats and when she lived in the south she would take them to the
groomers and have what is called a Line Cut. To her a line cut is when all
of
the fur hanging down below the cat's tummy is taken off (because it gets
matted or snarled).
When she moved to Chicago with my brother, one of the cats fur got all
tangled up during the move so she took it in for a line cut.
She was quite surprised when she heard the price as it was twice as much as
it was down south. She confirmed with the groomer that he understood what
a line cut was and he said "yes, I know what a LION cut is." It seems her
accent came out sounding like LION not LINE and this is how her cat was
returned to her.

November in Chicago and the cat needed all the fur it had."

How to know when you're working your
ass a little too hard!
During my recent trip I learned that
the FAA issued a new security measure starting Jan 1 2000. On every flight
over 2 hours the pilots will have their picture taken every 15 minutes to
make sure they are alert and in place. Here is a picture of some pilots
adhering to the new security check.
Mission Impossible Mouse...
It's a simple test designed to
indicate whether people have too much stress in their life.
It's a picture of two dolphins. The two dolphins appear normal when
viewed by a stress-free individual. This test is not accurate enough to
pick up mild stress levels.
It's quite simple. If there is anything that appears different about the
dolphins (ignore the fact of the slight color differences) it is often
an indication of potential stress related problems. Differences, if any,
may also indicate the source of your stress.
Sit upright and viewing the screen head-on, take a deep breath, breathe
out and then open the picture and look directly at it.
If there is anything out of the ordinary then you should consider taking
things a little easier.. |
